About Me

I thank God for all the incredible blessings in my life; my family, my friends, my health, my home, a purpose in life, and too many others to name here. Born and raised in Florida, I have a Bachelors degree in Marketing and a Doctorate in Law. After practicing Law for several years I followed my dream to become a performer. I performed and then later managed entertainment at Walt Disney World. While at Disney I met Jennifer and we were married in 1994. Jennifer and I moved to Franklin, TN in 2002. We have three sons, Andrew, Wesley and James Avery and in December of 2004 we adopted our beautiful daughter Emma Grace. I also have a beautiful daughter, Amy who lives in St. Petersburg, FL with her husband, Andrew and my three adoreable grandkids, Addison, Reilly and Lennon.

I am committed to treat my clients as I would want my family to be treated; with unwavering honesty, professionalism and excellent service. My training and experience as a trial lawyer and as a manager responsible to lead hundreds of employees in a highly successful corporation combined with my friendly, humorous nature (I think I’m funny!), my attention to detail, my knowledge of the middle Tennessee real estate market and my persistence make me the Realtor who can help you get where you want to be. In my first two years with Bob Parks Realty LLC I have sold nearly $8 million in real estate and received the company wide “Rookie of the Year Award” for Bob Parks Realty. I am a member of the National Association of REALTORS and have received CRS and ABR designations.

CRS: Steve has been awarded the Certified Residential Specialist Designation by The Council of Residential Specialists. Realtors who receive the CRS Designation have completed advanced courses and have demonstrated professional expertise in the field of residential real estate. Only 35,000 Realtors nationwide have earned the credential. Home buyers and sellers can be assured that CRS Designees subscribe to the strict realtor code of ethics, have access to the latest technology and are specialists in helping clients maximize profits and minimize costs when buying or selling a home.

ABR: The Accredited Buyer Representative (ABR) designation is the benchmark of excellence in buyer representation. This coveted designation is awarded by the Real Estate Buyer's Agent Council to real estate practitioners who meet the specified educational and practical experience criteria.
